The Kiwanis Club of Mt. Gilead paired with the Morrow County Health Department for a Car Seat Rodeo. Their goal was to educate residents about the proper child passenger car safety and to distribute child passenger safety restraints to families who restraints were unacceptable. With funding from a Foundation grant, they provided 50 new car seats and booster seats at two different safety check rodeos. Key Club and Kiwanis Club members assisted the Health Department safety inspectors.
